3.24 BRICK LEDGES

Creating a brick ledge with Greenblock is easy. Use the pre-made panel brick ledge or use our designs to build a trough or angle iron system on site allowing you to install the ledge anywhere vertically. (A panel brick ledge may be glued to the wall to comply with certain height requirements.) In certain instances, you can also use the top/taper block to create a brick ledge.

Brick Ties

Insert brick ties through the foam according to plans if you will be siding with brick, rock or masonry. The concrete will secure the exposed ends inside the forms. Some engineers allow brick ties to be screwed into the webs after the concrete placement.
